Intake Advocate
Job Description
This is a two-year fixed term full time position with the possibility of permanency within a purpose-driven team. The Intake Advocate serves as the first point of contact for clients reaching out through Advocare’s state-wide telephone number, community walk-ins, or connections made during community engagements. This role focuses on providing information and support to empower older people to make informed decisions and ensure their rights are respected.
The Intake Advocate will assist callers needing help navigating and understanding the aged care system or seeking unbiased, independent information about their existing aged care services. This role also supports older people who may be experiencing or at risk of elder abuse by providing information and referral on the WA Elder Abuse Helpline.
The role will be based in Victoria Park. Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work collaboratively with fellow Advocates and the wider Advocare team to advance our shared objectives.

Advocate Outreach Metro (parental leave cover)
Job Description
This is a (12-month, fixed-term parental leave cover) full time role within a purpose-driven team. The role will provide advocacy, information and education to older people. Advocates also engage with and deliver education sessions to families and carers, aged and community care staff, health and welfare professionals and community groups to raise awareness of the rights of older people and the prevention of all forms of elder abuse. The role will include frequent travel to deliver information and advocacy support. Education Partnerships Coordinator
Job Description
This is a 12-month fixed term, full time position with the possibility of permanency within a purpose-driven team. The primary purpose of this role is to lead engagement strategies across WA to promote National Aged Care Advocacy Program (NACAP) education sessions. The position contributes to the strategic achievement of KPIs through planning, stakeholder relationship development and delivery oversight particularly within residential aged care and home care settings. A secondary purpose of the role is to support the Advocacy team by coordinating education bookings and ensuring accurate data entry into the Client Management System (Salesforce). The position reports directly to the Metro Team Leader and works collaboratively with the Advocacy Team and wider Advocare team to further Advocare’s objectives.
