Joining our team as a Volunteer Visitor can be a truly rewarding and meaningful experience. 

By providing friendship and companionship, our volunteers improve the emotional and mental well-being of older people, fostering a sense of connection and purpose.  

In return, volunteers often experience personal growth, a deeper sense of purpose and understanding of different life experiences.  

The joy of making a difference in someone’s life is truly fulfilling, creating a sense of community and shared humanity. 

Our Volunteer Visitors engage in activities like chatting over a cuppa, going for a walk, sharing hobbies, enjoying music, or playing cards or games. 

If you enjoy socialising, can commit to one hour a week, and hold a current police clearance we want to hear from you. If you don’t have a police clearance, don’t worry, we can help with this process.

Volunteers receive induction, ongoing training, support, and opportunities for professional development. For more details, download our Volunteer Position Description below.
