Discover the new Seniors Information Resource!

Navigating the many services and concessions available to seniors across WA just got easier. The newly released ‘Seniors Information Resource’ is here to help older West Australians access clear, accessible information about programs, services, and benefits tailored to their needs.

Developed as part of the State Seniors Strategy 2023-2033, this initiative was shaped by feedback from seniors who wanted better access to important resources.

Whether you need guidance on housing, health, aged care services, elder abuse, technology, transport, community connections, end-of-life planning, or other topics, it’s all here. This handy Seniors Information Resource aims to raise awareness and ensure more seniors benefit from the services and concessions already available.

A limited number of printed booklets are available at local government offices, libraries, Community Resource Centres, the WA Seniors Card Perth office, and other seniors’ services across Western Australia. If you prefer it digital? You can download the resource online at www.wa.gov.au/organisation/department-of-communities/seniors-information-resource.

Looking ahead, a dedicated website for the Seniors Information Resource is in the works and set to launch in 2025, making it even easier to find and use.

If you have any questions or would like to share your thoughts about this new resource, the Department of Communities’ Seniors and Ageing team are keen to hear from you. Reach out to them on 1800 176 888 or email seniors@communities.wa.gov.au
