In March, we launched our new website to the world! Huge thanks to Lotterywest who helped fund it. Our site was built with a codesign ethos guiding the process to ensure the people visiting have the best possible experience. Here’s a few of the new features to look out for on your next visit.
Our new website now has intuitive and simplified ways to find and access valuable information. As a starter, we’ve expanded the dedicated ‘Resources’ tab area to include a new ‘Useful organisations’ listing and a ‘Glossary of terms’ collection to help people better understand aged care jargon and those ever-changing acronyms. You’ll also find under ‘Resources’ the ‘Helpful information’ page that lists and now displays the cover of all Advocare publications and better still – allows you to order these to be sent to you (as well as to be downloaded).
Another feature we’ve added is a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section at the bottom of most pages. This was another website aid the older people, volunteers and staff we spoke to during the codesign process identified as helpful. These FAQs cover all types of aged care topics and other program information and popular queries which we’ll update or add to regularly.
