We’re celebrating the seniors who inspire us! The 2026 WA Seniors Awards honour the remarkable impact of older Western Australians and those who support them. Don’t miss out. Nominations close Friday 14 August 2026, EXTENDED to Friday 21 August 2026, 5.00pm.

Funded by the Department of Communities and Lotterywest and coordinated by Advocare, the Seniors Peak Body of Western Australia, this prestigious event recognises those whose leadership, compassion, and innovation are changing lives and strengthening our communities.


Categories

WA Senior of the Year – Metropolitan
Recognising individuals aged 65 years or over (55 years or over if Aboriginal) from the Perth Metropolitan Region for leadership, community spirit, or dedicated service.

WA Senior of the Year – Regional
Honouring seniors aged 65 years or over (55 years or over if Aboriginal) from regional WA for their outstanding contributions to their local communities.

WA Age Friendly Business or Organisation of the Year
Celebrating businesses or organisations providing exceptional services or opportunities for seniors.

WA Age Friendly Local Government of the Year
Acknowledging local governments innovating to create age-friendly communities.

WA Seniors Advocate of the Year
Recognising advocates of any age who are dedicated to raising awareness and improving the lives of seniors.
